A voice spoke to my memories
Of what was left inside
In a vivid dream, I stared blankly
Into a stranger’s eyes
Don’t you turn away
The stranger in the mirror repeatedly said
Feeding off a pain
A pain that was not meant to be our fate
A tomorrow I cannot negate
A diminished breed in regress
Through heterosis, we shall rise
Above the years of confining quest
Of our true self in disguise
Filter out the past that holds us back
Revert the weaknesses of what nature lacks
No more weakness will remain
Free us from progressing toward the dawn of men
A tomorrow you cannot negate
[Clement:]
“Morality is the intended pain we inflict on each other
That we should have otherwise inflicted on ourselves.
It is a projection of the human experience instilled with imperfection.
It is what shapes and molds us as singular yet social creatures.
It is what makes us human.”
[Duval:]
“Nothing in the human experience intrigues me anymore…
They are just attachments to the parts in life that you can’t let go…
Why succumb to such horror?”
Deluded, you fell prey
To the designs injected into your veins
A vicious cycle with no end
Time and again
You reborn into the grave
Our lives weren’t meant to be
Living in this strangled reality
Leaning towards a destined tomorrow
In a tragedy where you play the fool
