几何码 How Many Hippos

2023 年创团， 由贝斯手王育嘉、钢琴手林均宪、鼓手简聿民组成， 旨在主流及爵士场景中加入Breakbeats、Drum & Bass 等电子碎拍元素。

以图像作为音乐启发， 并尝试用音色、节奏、旋律等元素诠释任何视觉概念， 又此种视觉以几何类型最为广泛， 因此取“几何”为关键字； 加上以各式声响作为表达视觉形象的密码， 将这些图像解析并放入编曲中， 因此取“码”为代表。集合为一便是“几何码”。

Founded in 2023 by YuChia Wang (bass), Shan Lin (piano), and FlyingPP (drums), the band aims to add elements of Breakbeats, Drum & Bass, and other electronic breakbeats to the mainstream and jazz scenes.

The band uses images as musical inspiration and tries to interpret any visual concepts with timbre, rhythm, melody, etc. Geometry is the most widely used type of visual concepts, so the keyword "geometry" is taken as the keyword; in addition, various kinds of sounds are used as the codes for expressing visual images, and these images are analyzed and put into the arrangements, so the word "code" is taken as the representative.
