吕其霖 / CHI LIN LU
吕其霖， 美国纽约皇后大学爵士作曲硕士，东海音乐系作曲学士。擅长爵士鼓，配乐编曲，于纽约爵士林肯中心Dizzy club登台演出。 在纽约与葛莱美奖得主Michael Mossman，Pete Calandra，James McElwaine学习爵士作曲、电影配乐与录音工程。 另一方面他也是Nu Jazz Agency爵士经纪人，并与纽约爵士林肯中心合作。 2016年，CHI LIN LU与Jimmy Heath大乐队演出，2017年与Ellis Marsalis在纽奥良Snug Habor演出，和Jazz At Lincoln Center Dizzy Club 与 Ben Paterson合作。 吕其霖也成立爵士大乐团在台湾巡回演出，并与葛莱美奖得主Michael Mossman，David Smith一起录制他的原创专辑。 在音乐制作方面，他于2017年出版了EDM电音作品 Striking To The World。2018年，他在获得葛莱美奖最佳录音的John Kilgore工作室工作。另外 2018 年与 红潮剧集《玛莉皇后的礼服》/ 2019 教育部 反毒音乐剧《光》合作担任音乐剧作编曲。

在纽约求学期间，我每天受到全世界不同文化的冲击，让我抛弃旧有的固执并产生了新潮思维。全世界只有少数像纽约这类型大都市才有这独特环境去孕育每个人的美国梦，而在这样的环境下而我写了 Big Apple 这首曲子去传达这种感受。曲子所要表达的核心概念是一种在大都市下生活的快速步调、文化冲撞、喧嚣又热闹的夜晚和最珍贵的产物之一：不间断的能量。 When I studied in New York City, I met people from all over the world and learned their culture from them. Such experience gives me a culture shock which changes the way I see the world. New York City is known as a melting pot and therefore this composition is dedicated to the city’s fast-paced, multicultural, and vivid life style that provides ceaseless energy.
