〈准提神咒〉出自《佛说七俱胝佛母心大准提陀罗尼经》，因其加持威力不可思议，感应疾速强大，故有咒中之王的称号，诵持者能得准提菩萨庇护，远离诸恶，能摄一切虫兽鬼魅，诸事通达，福慧增进。
The Cundi Dharani is a very powerful sutra, and therefore given name of the “King of the Sutras.” The reciter would be blessed by the Cundi Buddha, and safeguarded from all evil.
