Kantella is both a pianist and a composer focusing on piano, instrumental, film, and game music. She is a half American and half Chinese mix who was born on April 4th, 1994, in Taiwan.
Greatly influenced by Baroque, Romantic, and modern Cinematic composers such as Bach, Vivaldi, Chopin, Rachmaninov, Hans Zimmer, and Kow Otani, Kantella developed a free-playing style for the piano, quite often involving the use of modes in her piano music which gives it the feeling of being transported into a fantasy world.
