“Junctions and boulevards, dissolved into a cup of tea / I’m floating, I’m a single leaf”
每片树叶从哪里来，又到哪里去，在风中摇曳而捉摸不定。这首歌将视角聚焦于一片在空中飘荡的树叶，透过它的视线俯瞰纽约的建筑，窥见每个公寓窗后隐藏的故事。受到卡尔维诺《看不见的城市》这本书的启发，我尝试从不同的角度（宏观vs微观、过去vs现在）来观察城市——皮卡车上运输的货物，地铁里的灰尘，乃至旅客眺望窗外的眼神……城市中那些常被忽视的细节都在这首歌里。
