A Song to My Heart

独立唱作歌手刘致君（Jac Lau）即将于今年推出首张创作专辑《Befriend Emotions》，收录五首英文歌曲，探讨情绪的意义。《A Song to My Heart》是当中第一首发布的歌曲，亦是 Jac 第一首派台的作品。

Jac 在一个感到极为低落的晚上写了这首歌，当时心中涌现出不同的疑问：“我不知道为甚么我要存在在这个世界？我是不是造物主错误诞生的一个生命？地球上有那么多的人，到底我的出现有甚么意义？”歌曲探讨生命活著的意义，有时候我们在都市中，麻目地营营役役，追赶着，忙碌着，做着大家都认为是“对”的事，到头来却没有活出自己的人生，渐渐地成为了另一个人。那么这些事还叫做是“对”的吗？

歌词表达出自己与内心声音断联的痛苦，心不停力竭声嘶地呼喊着，但自己都没有听到：

经历一番“内心”和“外在的自己”的强烈拉扯和挣扎，自己终于愿意慢慢地把不同部分的自己镶嵌起来，全然地接纳自己的所有部分，才可以好好的跟自己相处，达致真我的层次。歌曲的bridge是后来加上的，代表着自己经历一番波折之后，带着感恩的心，回望人生的经历和旅程，明白到一切发生都有其原因。

Elliott Wan 和 Ethan Tang 为这首歌编曲和监制，以电子流行音乐风格，加上放克 (funk) 元素，将唱作人的挣扎炼成轻松、有趣和富有节奏感的歌曲。
