Jakarta-based Indonesian anthemic pop band lightcraft have spent nearly two decades crafting songs that blend heartfelt emotion with soaring melodies, creating music that lingers long after the final note.
Formed in Selangor, Malaysia, in 2006 while studying at university, the band has a sound that is both cinematic and intimate. Over the years, lightcraft have performed at major festivals and venues across 15 countries in North America, Europe, and Asia, leaving their mark on stages from Liverpool to Tokyo. With two EPs and four albums to their name, the band continue to push their creative boundaries while staying true to the emotional core that defines their music.
Now celebrating their 20th anniversary, 2026 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. In July, lightcraft released “Waiting for the Morning Sun”, the first single from the reimagined edition of their debut EP “The Modern Seasons”, due for release in September 2026.
