歌曲灵感来自2008年底内发生的野生北极熊在冰岛被枪杀事件。
歌曲以北极熊为第一人称，叙述他眼中的这个事件。
钟茌自解：
温室效应，地球变暖。北极冰川融化，一头野生北极熊随著浮冰飘到南边的国家“冰岛”，引起围观，开始不安，当地警方以防万一将其射杀。
这不是我在讲故事，这是真实的事情。发生了。我们是应该阻止警察的枪，还是阻止北极冰川的融化呢？
但我可以告诉你，不管怎样这跟北极熊无关，你知道了吗？你明白了吗？可是最终他死了！
我们剥夺了他的冰山家园，还开抢送他上了西天。
