【Once Upon a Time, When the Spirits Run Free】的续集。
【Once Upon a Time, When the Spirits Run Free】一样,【They’re Coming】音乐背后有著作者的现象和故事。
The second single of Anak Borneo's “Pulau” series "They're Coming" is the sequel after his previous release, “Once Upon a Time, When the Spirits Run Free”.
The melody of Sape (traditional music instrument from Borneo), from major scale transform to b7 traditional Sape scale, plays through the whole track, from a peaceful vibe turns to the tense second half gradually with the ticking-clock-alike sound of Biji Kepayang (percussive instrument made from pangium seeds).
Like the previous release of the "Pulau" series, "They're Coming" was written with imagination and story. The composition of the music aims to picture that the untouched rainforest is facing the approaching unknown destroyers and the spirits roaming the place sense the coming threat. Hence, sets up the mood that connects the story into the next stage of the "Pulau" series, the next release.
