原本《The Alley Sky》，是女儿搬进大学宿舍那晚的歌。室友都回家了，她也想回家。知道巴士站在哪里，也知道自己不能真的走，所以拿起吉他，唱。

她拿爸爸念书时的往事，唱自己和高中死党的分离。不想长大，想抱妈妈。

那首歌里，有三十年前的爸爸。

她唱得我屏息。好，那我也来唱一版。只是 key 当然不对。人到了一个年纪，很多东西都会降下来。Bass-baritone 大叔，不可能唱出女孩的轻盈。

整晚试唱，天亮前唱出了父亲版。
